Utilipede Transport
The Utilipede Transport is a custom LEGO MOC of the Sienar-Chall cargo ship from Star Wars Outlaws. Its compact cockpit, thin central spine, and twin engines give this unarmed hauler a distinctive industrial profile. The model carries three removable cargo containers beneath its body, with an internal structure sturdy enough for handling and a cockpit equipped with an adjustable pilot’s seat and flight controls.

Design
The Utilipede’s thin central spine presented the main design challenge. It connects the cockpit to the twin engines while carrying three cargo containers beneath the ship. Capturing that slender profile in LEGO meant finding enough strength within a very limited space.
I spent several weeks iterating on the structure, using building techniques that change stud direction to connect and reinforce the assemblies. The finished model securely supports all three removable containers and is sturdy enough to swoosh when held by the spine.
The compact cockpit includes an adjustable pilot’s seat and flight controls. The cargo containers use separate instructions, so builders can customize their colors to match the different combinations seen throughout Star Wars Outlaws.
