Yes. I build a physical test model for every set of instructions I release. This helps identify structural problems, difficult connections, and steps that may not be clear during digital development alone.

For ships and speeders, I also aim for a high degree of “swooshability.” Models should be able to be picked up and handled, not just placed on a shelf.

Difficulty varies by model. Part count is one useful indicator, but size, structure, and building techniques also affect complexity. Smaller droids and speeders are often quicker projects, while larger ships may use advanced SNOT (“Studs Not on Top”) techniques and require substantially more time.
