Every ship has a story — and some sit quietly between the cracks of history. The Hidden Path T-47 Airspeeder is one of those forgotten craft, bridging the gap between the Clone Wars and the Rebellion. When it appeared briefly in Obi-Wan Kenobi, I knew it was something special — an early glimpse of the airspeeder that would one day evolve into the iconic Rebel Snowspeeder. My latest LEGO MOC reimagines that moment in Star Wars history, capturing the grit and ingenuity of the Hidden Path.
Origin, Design, and Specs
The Hidden Path T-47 first appeared in Obi-Wan Kenobi Part IV, set ten years after Revenge of the Sith and nearly a decade before A New Hope. At this stage in galactic history, the Rebellion doesn’t yet exist — only scattered groups defying the Empire in secret. Among them is the Hidden Path, a covert network helping Jedi and Force-sensitives escape persecution.
Their version of the T-47 reflects that improvisational era. It’s still a combat-ready airspeeder, equipped with forward laser cannons, but without the rear gunner and harpoon system found on later Rebel variants. Instead, it’s optimized for quick strikes and extractions — a leaner configuration better suited for covert missions and tight landings. The expanded canopy and larger cabin emphasize its transport role without sacrificing its battlefield punch.
Creating the Hidden Path T-47 Airspeeder in LEGO
My LEGO design keeps the familiar T-47 wedge silhouette and incorporates the unique qualities of the T-47 Airspeeders used by the Hidden Path. Two minifigures sit comfortably in the cockpit, outfitted with detailed flight controls and a forward-facing second seat — a logical choice since no rear-mounted systems exist.
Like my other T-47 Airspeeders, the Hidden Path version has adjustable air brake flaps on the top and rear, and balances sturdy construction with clean display proportions.

Building Instructions
The Hidden Path T-47 Airspeeder instructions are available now — complete with high-quality digital renders, intuitive steps, and a parts list ready for BrickLink.
This is more than a simple Star Wars build — it’s a missing link in the T-47’s history. Perfect for builders who appreciate deep-cut lore and thoughtful design, it pairs beautifully with my other T-47 Airspeeders or looks right at home alongside your Rebel fleet.
Role in Star Wars
In Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Hidden Path is a secretive movement led by figures like Roken and Tala — ordinary people who risk everything to help fugitives escape the Empire’s grasp. During the daring rescue on Fortress Inquisitorius, two of their T-47s swoop in to extract Obi-Wan Kenobi and Leia Organa — marking the craft’s first on-screen appearance.
This version of the T-47 stands as a symbol of early rebellion — armed but unglamorous, a workhorse of the Hidden Path. Built for survival more than spectacle, it carried fugitives, fought when needed, and disappeared just as quickly. It’s the ship that came before the Snowspeeder — the one that carried hope through the shadows long before the Rebellion had a name, and long before its pilots were called heroes.
