Star Wars Outlaws Diorama, 2026 Convention Season
Shuma is a traveling merchant in Star Wars Outlaws who parks her transport on Toshara, flings open a cargo container storefront, hangs an awning, and waits for customers.
Star Wars MOCs don’t have to live in gray.
One droid is doing three things at once. One customer found the shadiest spot behind the ship and isn’t waking up anytime soon.
Year built: 2026
Build time: ~1 week
Size: 10″ x 10″ (32 x 32 studs)
How It Came Together
Toshara has a distinctive palette: warm dark tan rock, deep olive green native grass, lavender and white wildflowers against an arid backdrop. That color combination was the whole draw for this build, and it shaped every decision from the ground up.
The terrain is built on a MILS base with two types of custom SNOT modules creating the ground texture. The first orients 1×2 masonry bricks and plates studs-out using headlight bricks. The second inverts a 1×1 brick with stud connected to a 1×1 brick with a hole, so the bottom faces up. Combined across the surface, the two types create irregular rocky ground without every stud pointing the same direction. Some modules pushed down under pressure during the build and had to be reinforced from underneath before the surface would hold the display elements reliably.
The olive grass is clustered 1×1 cheese slopes and plates, suggesting tufts rather than uniform cover. Flowers in lavender, white, and dark green are distributed so at least one pop of color lands on each side of the build.
The WED Treadwell Droid is a customized version of the free MOC I have on Rebrickable, configured with multiple arms to work as a shop assistant. This one is cleaning, holding a basket of produce, and selling a bowl of noodles simultaneously. Cici, a C1-Series Astromech with large adjustable eyes, rounds out the droid crew. The Utilipede Transport instructions are available on Rebrickable for $7.
